While others were starting their christmas holiday shopping, a group of pupils from St Gerard's departed early one morning to head to Tignes, France, for our school ski trip. Some had been on the previous trip and were recounting the experience to those new to the experience but all were excited by the prospect of snow and a week full of skiing before Christmas. Flying out of Manchester we arrived in France (via Switzerland) to a classic scene of the alps covered in snow and it proceeded to snow all night to welcome the skiers out the next morning. Overall it was a fun filled week of skiing with adventures and experiences for all levels of skiers. As before, our ski instructors were amazing and had everyone stretching their skills and moving up the mountain every day. When Friday arrived the skiers, pupils and staff, had all had an amazing week in Tignes enjoying the snow, sun and fun. Thank you to all the staff who joined the trip and for all the pupils for their exceptional behaviour and enthusiasm. We are already looking forward to next time!
