Years 3 and 4 have been studying the weather in geography and they were invited to visit the Met Office based at RAF Valley.  They were shown how the weather was monitored, forecast and how decisions were made about where pilots could fly.  Sgt Gale kindly arranged the visit and included a variety of other departments in the tour.  These included Air Traffic Control, the fire section, pilots' locker room, simulators and T2 hanger.  They had a fabulous time and not only had fun but learnt a great deal too.  They even got to sit in one of the planes.  Letters of thanks have been written since they appreciated their visit and would like to have another tour in future!
