It has been an exciting year for the Junior School STEM club in 2016-17.  They have been privileged to meet many scientists from various different higher education institutions as a way of developing their knowledge and interest in science, technology, and maths.  Examples of some of their activities include: lichen identification with Bob Griffiths from the Open Air Laboratory (@OPALnature); drone flying with Robert Bolam from Glyndwr University, and later this year they will be planting orchids in the school grounds.
