Ben Ryan from Ambionics visited St Gerard's to speak to both our junior and senior school students about his innovative work with prosthetics for his son Sol. It was amazing to hear about his motivation, inspiration and the challenges that he has overcome to facilitate a life changing opportunity for his son. With help from the innovation unit at Pontio, Bangor University, Mr. Ryan is hoping that his work can be used to support others in the same situation as Sol.
